The Malta University Sports Club (MUSC), has taken the initiative to co-ordinate and animate the support for the Maltese National Rugby team in a way that will make every Maltese Citizen proud.

Malta will be playing its Rugby International match, against Germany, at the Hibs Ground on 29 October 2005. Students shall meet on campus at noon.

The Malta Rugby Football Union has always put emphasis to encourage the general public to attend and participate actively in supporting our national team. This is the reason why MUSC has been working on a programme that will interest the students in actively participating and also in upgrading the much-desired support.

To help in this venture MUSC’s percussion team will be joining the participants. Any university student or other person, who is interested in joining either the percussion team or the musicians, can do so and this will earn him/her a free entrance ticket for the game. There will be a fixed number of musicians we who will be allowed to get into the stadium for free.

The university crowd will first meet at on campus before the match at 12:00 hrs. A bar with special prices will be set up for this purpose. At 13:00 hrs the gathered party will leave together for a pre-match carcade, heading for Ta’ Qali to make our players feel proud of being Maltese.

To make this event a success the MUSC will be distributing, free of charge, a supporters tool kit.
