InterContinental Malta is proud to support the Malta Rugby Football Union for 2005 and 2006, where the Malta Rugby Team will being accommodated at InterContinental Malta during their international commitments in Malta, including their forthcoming match today against Germany.

In line with its commitment of supporting the local community and sporting associations, InterContinental Malta's General Manager, Christophe Laure said "associating InterContinental Malta's name with the MRFU is indeed an honour, especially in view of the success and fantastic accomplishments that the Maltese team have achieved over the past five years.

In today's game Malta, ranked 52nd in the world, take on Germany, who are ranked 27th. Malta is labeled as the underdogs but are however confident to win the game, having the full support of the home crowd. They have also roped in the support of Barry Maddocks as their Back coach, who is also the Welsh U/16 national coach.
