Five Premier players have been handed a one-match suspension.

They are Gaetan Spiteri of Hamrun Spartans, Carlo Mamo of Marsaxlokk, Digger Okonkwo of Mosta, Roderick Bajada of Msida St Joseph and Dean Gera of Pieta Hotspurs.

Three players from the first division were also suspended. Trevor Thomas of St George’s has been banned for four matches, while his team-mate Patrick Muscat and Tarxien’s Floyd Farrugia were banned one match each.
