Donatella Cinelli Colombini was born in Siena, where she graduated in history of medieval art and where she is now Councillor of tourism. In 1993 she founded the Wine Tourism Movement and invented Wine day – the lucky event that brought success to wine tourism in Italy.
Last week Donatella was in Malta to present her wines during a press dinner at Quadro, at the Westin Dragonara Resort. Journalists were able to taste her fine wines with a special Tuscan menu produced and cooked by chef Michael Cauchi. The wines which were served were:Chianti Superiore 2002, Leone rosso 2001 and Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2000.
