A Martial Arts seminar is being held on 10 and 11 December at the Qawra Palace Hotel.

It is being organised by AA promotions, led by Adrian Axisa, who are bringing over world champion Silvio Simac to teach techniques in Screen Fighting, Self Defence, Dynamic Kicking, etc.

On Saturday 10 December, the programme starts at 10am with a children’s session. It will be followed by Screen Fighting, Self Defence (Part 1), a break, Dynamic Kicking and a Martial Arts Discussion (Part 1).

On Sunday 11 December, the programme starts again at 10am with a children’s session. It will be followed by a weapons session, Screen Fighting (Part 2), a break, Self Defence (Part 2) and Martial Arts Discussion (Part 2).

Silvio Simac, known as the Rising Dragon, has the S factor – skill, speed, stamina, strength and sex appeal. At 31 years of age, he is the champion among men – a world gold medallist.

He has been British champion 14 times and European champion four times.

Achieving excellence and mastering a skill is only a dream for many but Silvio has made it a reality. It is this ‘star’ quality that has made him unique and subsequently has gained him success by landing roles in commercials, TV shows and the movies.

He has been teaching martial arts and fitness for the last 12 years. He has tirelessly striven to raise the profile of his sport through not only his competitive success but also throughout regular series of breathtaking demonstrations and public appearances often raising money for charities such as Shelter, Unicef, Fighting for Cancer, Help a London Child and numerous others.

His will power, dedication, commitment and success has often gained him feature articles and from page appearances in publications such as The Sun, The Mirror, FHM, Combat and other reputable journals.
