Malta is to stage a UEFA mini (Under 17) championship qualifying round next year. It will be held between November 17 and 22. Malta will also be taking part in the European Under 19 championship qualifying round which is to be held in Denmark on October 15, 17 and 20 next year.

The draws were made recently during the 8th UEFA Youth Conference which was held in Cyprus.

Those concerning Malta resulted as follows:

Under-17 Championship: Andorra, Malta, Italy, Serbia Montenegro

Under-19 Championship: Denmark, Finland, France, Malta
