Msida goalkeeper Omar Borg and Birkirkara striker Jean Paul Mifsud Triganza may be moving in the opposite way during the January transfer window.
It is an open secret that Birkirkara have been showing interest in landing the young Msida goalie – considered by many as one of the best on the island at present.
The Stripes are not happy that they do not yet have a top class substitute for Czech Republic goalkeeper David Simon and have turned their eyes on the Msida goalie.
The Saints are thought to be requesting striker Jean Paul Mifsud Triganza and reserve goalie Bernard Paris in return for Borg’s services.
It is understood that the goalie has already agreed terms with the Stripes, but the two clubs still have to reach an agreement.
Meanwhile Marsaxlokk are still targeting Birkirkara defender William Camenzuli, who is known to be admired by technical adviser Ray ‘Zazu’ Farrugia.
It seems as if the player is being tempted seriously to join the southern seasiders, but the Stripes are still reluctant to allow the player leave the club.
