President Edward Fenech Adami yesterday spent his Sunday morning in Siggiewi, meeting the community and visiting various areas.

Dr Fenech Adami first attended Mass at the Siggiewi parish church, and afterwards met Mrs Evelyn Galea, the first superior of the girls’ MUSEUM.

He then met the Siggiewi Festival Brass Band, visited the St Nicholas Band Club and was taken to see the façade of the chapel Santa Maria Ta’ Cwerra, which was recently restored.

He then visited the stonework factory run by Carmelo Mallia and the Tal-Providenza chapel, before touring a crib exhibition organised by the Grupp tal-Arma 6 ta’ Dicembru.

He rounded up the day by visiting the local council offices.
