The Malta Open Tennis Tournament, organised by the Marsa Sports Club and sanctioned by the Malta Tennis Federation has been programmed to start tomorrow.

All games will be played at the Marsa Sports Club and are scheduled to start at 5.30pm and will be played in courts 1 to 6 under floodlights.

No games have been scheduled for Christmas eve and Christmas day.Although it is normal for this tournament to be held in October, due to unforseen circumsatnces the tournament has had to be postponed till now this year.

Meanwhile the tournament has attracted various local and foreign players and the draws, held under the supervision of the MTF, have resulted in a varied mix of exciting tennis games that will be played between 20th and 28th December with the finals being scheduled for the 29th and 30th December.

Members, guests and the public are invited to attend and watch some of the best local and foreign talents around at present.

Tomorrow’s fixture in the Men’s Doubles which opens the Tournament is between Clayton Zammit/Dave Elden-Albrecht Ilia/Paul Bermen and will start at 5.30pm.
