Vocal trio Trilogy, composed of Roger Tirazona, Eleanor Spiteri and Cliff Zammit will take part in this year’s edition of the Sliema Youth Big Band vocal and instrumental concert. The event has become an annual appointment organised by the Daughters of the Sacred Heart together with the Sliema Philharmonic Society.

The Sliema Youth Big Band will be under the direction of Mro Sigmund Mifsud ALCM and Trilogy will sing Across the Harbour from the musical 1565.

The concert is to be held at the Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta, Tal-Qroqq today and tomorrow, in aid of the project to build a school for abandoned street children, whose parents have died of Aids, in Kenya.

This will be Trilogy’s last performance before taking part in the Song for Europe Festival next week with the song This Heart of Mine – composed by Paul Abela and penned by Joe Julian Farrugia.
