Alta Care Laboratoires recently gave me the opportunity to sit in the front row at the night of Telegatti, one of the most important events on Italian TV. The gala was organised by Sorrisi e Canzoni TV, who collaborate with Alta Care Laboratoires for the branding section. The event took place in the Vatican’s auditorium – Via della Conciliazione, Rome.

The stars were welcomed at the entrance by a long carpet and two big sculptures of Telegatti.

The first winner was the famous rocker Vasco Rossi (pictured below) who received three awards: a platinum telegatto for merit by the jury chaired by Maurizio Costanzo, and two golden awards for best singer and best tour.

The great singer Biagio Antonacci won for best album with his Convivendo – Parte 2.

In the TV category, the choice was hard, but the Sorrisi e Canzoni TV’s readers awarded the programme Striscia la Notizia. Simona Ventura (above right) triumphed as female personality of the year, beating Milly Carlucci and Maria De Filippi, while the best TV series was Distretto di Polizia 5 which beat Il Maresciallo, Rocca 5 and Paolo Borsellino.

There were great surprises in the cinema category. Roberto Benigni, who had two nominations for best actor and best movie (La tigre e la neve), went home empty-handed. The telegatto for the best movie went to Michele Placido’s Romanzo Criminale, while Christian De Sica won in the best actor category.

There was an award for the best sportsman: Luca Toni, the great Fiorentina player, who won all the magazine readers’ hearts, prevailing over Valentino Rossi and Valentina Vezzali.

Besides the ten golden telegatti, the jury assigned eight platinum awards to Mike Bongiorno, Fiorello, who officially revealed that he will be dad soon, Vasco Rossi, the couple Ornella Vanoni and Gino Paoli, Eros Ramazzotti, Bruno Vespa, Stefania Sandrelli and Paolo Maldini.

Alta Care Laboratoire’s presence at the Telegatti meant that it has been recognised as a company of high quality and luxury products, besides being a brand rapidly expanding in the most trendy contexts.

Finally, I would like to thank Alta Care Laboratoires for giving me the possibility to feel, even just for one night, like a star!
