A fire broke out on one of the upper floors of ST Tower in Gżira on Monday morning, prompting the evacuation of workers from the building.

Smoke was seen billowing from the sides of the tower as emergency crews responded to the incident. Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control, and no injuries were reported.

Michael Stivala, owner of the building and President of the Malta Development Association, told MaltaToday that the fire originated from a copper pipe connected to an air conditioning unit. He said that the situation has been "sorted and is under control."
