Maltacom plc and the two local mobile operators have reached agreement so that Go Mobile and Vodafone subscribers will have access to televoting numbers during the 2006 Song for Europe Festival.

Maltacom said the public will have access to televoting numbers from their mobile phone. While the call charge from a fixed line will be that of 20c + VAT (23c6 inclusive of VAT), a call from mobile will cost 35 cents inclusive of VAT.

Only up to three calls (votes) from the same calling number will be considered as valid.
