The executive committee of the Maltese Association of Social Workers (MASW) has congratulated the 156 social workers who have received a warrant from the Social Work Board for professional social work practice.
The warrants were presented by Family and Social Solidarity Minister Dolores Cristina. This event, said the MASW, represented the official recognition of over 50 years of service extended to individuals, families, children and communities in Malta.
The association also thanked the university for providing quality training for students, the members of the Social Work Board, chaired by Ms Carmen Zammit, and the Family and Social Solidarity Ministry.
