The Mosta AF Sign Studio Cycling Club will be holding a Mass Start road cycling race this morning along the Zebbug By-Pass.

The race will be held between 07:30 and 11:30 hours and commence from the roundabout near the St Dorothy’s Convent School and proceed to the Valletta Road roundabout and back.

‘There will be six categories with different distances:

Under 15 years - 31 Kms 7 Laps

Ladies - 36 Kms - 8 Laps

Masters 40+ years - 50 Kms - 11 Laps

Masters 50+ years - 45 kms - 10 Laps

Juniors - 63 kms - 14 Laps

Elite - 80 kms - 18 Laps

The Mosta AF Sign Studio Cycling Club is expecting a good turnout for this event which will serve as a good training platform for the upcoming National Championship races due to start in April and in which cyclists from the Mosta AF Sign Studio Cycling Club have always excelled in past years.

A prize giving ceremony will be held immediately after the event. The Committee of the Mosta AF Sign Studio Cycling would like to thank it’s sponsors, AF Sign Studio and Magri Cycles (Club sponsors) and Central Cement (Race Sponsors) for their continued help and support without which these events could not be held.

The General Public is advised that for the duration of the race event, the Zebbug By-Pass shall be closed for traffic and motorists are kindly asked to avoid the Zebbug By-Pass and use Valletta Road and Zebbug Road instead.
