As a confirmation of its long-term dedication to promoting Tenpin Bowling as a healthy sport, the Eden Leisure Group, fronted by Cynergi Health & Fitness Club, has agreed to sponsor the new National Coaching Scheme, organized by the Malta Tenpin Bowling Association.

The agreement means a yearly commitment of over Lm10, 000 from the Eden Leisure Group, by way of regular training facilities at the Eden SuperBowl for those athletes enrolled in the scheme. It will also facilitate the contracting of a top class international tenpin bowling coach, a task that is currently being negotiated by the MTBA. The support afforded by the Eden Leisure Group to Bowling in Malta has been a determining factor in making this one of the few sports in which local sportsmen have excelled, even in the international arena.

Another positive feature of this collaboration will be the introduction of the ‘Cynergi Ranking Series’ to the bowling calendar, a new ranking system played over a series of tournaments during the year to create Malta’s first ever ranking order.

This will surely be keenly contested by Malta’s growing number of competitive bowlers.
