Young William Chetcuti who carries Malta’s main hope for a medal at the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in Melbourne next month, maintained his current good form by hitting a 145 score (from 150) in a Double Trap competition organised by the federation at the ranges in Bidnija on Sunday.
Chetcuti registered impressive rounds of 49, 48 and 48 for a grand total of 145.
Rodney Micallef finished in second place with 122 hits – 40, 44 and 38, while third was the promising Derek Bonanno who obtained 98 – 30, 29 and 39.
