The first Council Meeting of the Malta Olympic Committee for 2006 was held on Wednesday, 22 February. During the meeting the Director of Finance presented the MOC Audited Accounts for the year 2005 and gave details regarding the income and expenditure of the Malta Olympic Committee for the year under review.

The Director of Sport informed the delegates present about the final preparations that are underway in connection with the Maltese contingent’s participation in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne next month and emphasised on the obligations of every member of the contingent as a representative of the MOC and Malta.

The President in his report gave an overview of the MOC’s activities since the last Council meeting and outlined the main events of the Olympic Committee for the current year.
