Malta’s girls, coached by Pierre Brincat, lost 2-0 to Italy’s Under 19 side yesterday morning in a friendly match at the Ta’ Qali training grounds.

The Italians scored their goals through Manuela Coluccini and Sandy Iannelli, one in each half.

Former Malta national coach Pietro Ghedin accompanied the Italian girls team as head of the women’s sector within the FIGC.
