Unique Opportunity for voluntary organisations

Malta Independent Wednesday, 8 March 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Charities and non-profit organisations have been granted a unique opportunity by Valletta Waterfront to promote the causes to which they devote so much time and energy.

Throughout this year’s Formula One racing season, these organisations will be able to show clips of their work, for free, on a large outdoor screen being set up especially for these sporting events.

In addition to using this screen for commercial advertising for local and international brands and companies, Valletta Waterfront will be offering the opportunity for charities and organisations who work in other fields such as the environment, arts, or heritage to promote their work and perhaps recruit more volunteers or donors for their respective cause.

This latest initiative from Viset follows a number of activities to help the disadvantaged in society which have been organised and supported by the company and its staff.

These events include its annual Christmas Party for children from Church Homes as well as the “Served by the Stars” event, which raised funds for the Kilimanjaro Challenge Project.

Any organisation interested in taking up the opportunity of promoting their work can contact Coralie Clews at Viset (Malta) plc on 21 252 610.
