Malta’s Eurovision contestant Fabrizio Faniello launched his CD single on Wednesday of the song I Do, which he will be singing at the Eurovision Song Contest in Greece in May.

This is the second time that Fabrizio will be taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2001, he sang Another summer night, written by Paul Abela and Georgina, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In May of that year, Fabrizio launched his first album, While I’m Dreamin. His second album, When We Danced was released at the end of 2003 and achieved considerable success in 30 countries.

The popular singer also took part in the gala event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen on 22 October 2005. On that occasion he had launched his third album, Believe.

Tourism and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech said that Fabrizio Faniello had been an excellent ambassador for Malta.
