Malta’s young stars at the 2006 European Under 19 Championship in Latvia have had mixed fortunes.
After the second day, however, they are still in with a chance of qualifying, although they all face a difficult task.
In Group A, Thurston Grixti has played four matches, winning two and has a -1 frame difference (6-7). In Group C, Duncan Pisani has won two of the three matches he has played so far and is on a 6-6 frame difference. Shawn Agius, in Group E, has also won two of his four matches and is on a 7-7 frame difference.
All three players have to play against all the six members in their group.
