Exhibition At Wardija School

Malta Independent Sunday, 9 April 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

Although in previous years, the Dun Manwel Attard School at Wardija has always put up a Last Supper Table, this year, apart from entering into much more detail and presentation, other features were added.

Through the use of multimedia and the school’s OptiMusic equipment, the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady were depicted both visually and orally. This was followed by a thorough explanation about all the items displayed on the Last Supper table.

In order to be as authentic as possible in the reproduction of the presentation, meetings were held with Shelly Tayar, a representative of the Jewish Community in Malta.

An added feature was displayed on stage where a life-size replica of Jesus’ tomb was built.
