In the third and final match of the European B championships qualifying round in Slovenia, Malta yesterday suffered its third defeat, this time against France 15-7.

Session scores of yesterday’s match were 4-1, 3-2, 4-2 and 4-2.

Steve Camilleri scored two goals while the other Maltese scorers were Matthew Zammit, Paul Privitera, John Soler, Nicki Lanzon and David Camilleri.

Malta lost 15-4 against Slovakia in the opening match and then were beaten by Slovenia (10-6) in the second.
