“Succeeding in Libya – Strategies For Success 2006” that is being held on 11 and 12 May is following up on the success achieved in the conference entitled “Succeeding in a changing Libya” that was organised in 2005
Over the past year, Libya strengthened its vision to become one of the leading business hubs of North Africa and the Middle East. The recent economic policy developments including the removal of trade barriers, as well as the strong international flow of investment will prove instrumental at placing the country on the map for strong and sustained growth in the medium to long-term.
Indeed, the aim of this conference is to provide delegates with not only an update on recent developments but also with concrete opportunities for business success in the country.
The salient objectives of the conference are to provide a deep understanding of the macro economic policy of the government and an overview of recent development in FDI and overall policy measure in relation to foreign investment as well as highlight specific areas of business interest and in particular: tourism, financial services, real-estate and down stream oil.
