Song Festival to raise funds

A song festival to raise funds for abandoned children in the Philippines is being organised on Sunday.

The festival is being organised by Chiara Gauci from Mellieha, who will be going to the Philippines to do missionary work with the Augustinian Sisters.

The sisters are planning to build a new home to provide shelter for abandoned children.

The festival, entitled “Philippine Angels Festival”, will be held at the Mercure San Antonio Hotel in Qawra at 2pm. The entrance fee is Lm2.75.

Grand Hotel San Antonio, Glass Creations, Hotel Riu Seabank, APS Bank, go Mobile, Play Craft, Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa Superior, Bidnija Horse Riding School, Tourist Resources and Wild Thyme Restaurant are supporting the event.
