The Hamilton Travel Doubles tournament, sponsored by “Hamilton Travel-Malta” of Floriana, agents and operators for travelling, will be held at TCK between 28 May and 23 July. Matches will played every Tuesday and Thursday.

This tournament shall consist of “Men’s Doubles and Ladies’ Doubles. Teams shall be placed in groups according to their playing standard.

The team that wins two sets out of three will be declared the winner. Tie-break will be played in all sets. Two points will be awarded to the winner of two sets.

Where teams finish with equal points, the winner of the direct encounter will determine the final position in the table. In the event that the situation remains one of equality, the difference between games won and lost (of all the matches) will be taken into consideration. Postponed matches, which are only allowed in extreme cases, must be played before the end of the tournament. Teams, who for special reasons postpone a match, are responsible to inform the organising committee and consult with opponents to re-fix the Rubber.
