Neptunes must win today’s match against their neighbours and rivals San Giljan if they are to make sure of retaining the sole leadership in the Wilkinson Sword Winter League.

The Balluta Bay side are on eight points after five matches and have a two-point lead over Sliema and Sirens. San Giljan are on four points, but have a match in hand over the three clubs.

The Saints surprised Sliema in their last match and will be hoping to repeat the dose against Neptunes this evening.

In the other match, Sliema should be able to collect the two points from their match against bottom placed Marsaxlokk.
