The General Workers’ Union has ordered industrial action against 10 car importers after they failed to sign a new collective agreement for their employees.

The 10 companies are Kinds Auto Sales, Michael Attard Ltd, Gasan Enterprises, UCIMCO Ltd., Muscat Motors, Continental Cars, Industrial Motors, Mizzi Automotive Services, International Automobiles Ltd. and Mizzi Organisation Automotive Division.

The GWU said the last collective agreement expired one year and four months ago.
