The Malta Institute of Management recently hosted the graduation ceremony of the Maastricht School of Management’s Outreach Programme at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.
The ceremony was presided over by the associate dean of the Maastricht School of Management Prof. Fred Phillips. Also present for the occasion were various other dignitaries, including the president and members of the council of the Malta Institute of Management.
During the graduation ceremony, Air Malta CEO Joe Cappello presented an award to Francis Cassar who came first in the Integration phase of the MBA programme.
Mr Cappello said: “Air Malta, as one of the institute’s collaborating partners, feels that higher educational is an essential element for Malta’s competitiveness. Air Malta, as one of the major organizations in Malta, is keen to support educational development and through our support we seek to encourage Maltese students to pursue further their academic studies.
“Air Malta has a long standing partnership with the Malta Institute of Management. Such association forms part of Air Malta’s Committed to the Community initiative that aims to support and encourage local organisations and activities in various sectors, be they cultural, social, philanthropic, environmental, heritage or sport, that help the Maltese Community in some way or another.”
