Three armed and hooded men made off with a small amount of money from a shop in Mosta Road, St Paul’s Bay at around 11pm on Wednesday night.

The police said the three men entered the shop and demanded money from the owner, a 31-year-old Turkish man, resident in Malta. At the time of the robbery, another two people were in the shop.

The robbers made off with a small amount of money and escaped on foot. No one was hurt.

Duty magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed court experts to help the inquiry.
