A woman was yesterday conditionally discharged for six months after she was found guilty of injuring another woman with a knife last summer.
Claire Borg, 27, from Sliema, was found guilty of injuring Karen Spagnol when she hit her with a knife. She was also found guilty of being in possession of a knife without a licence issued by the Police Commissioner.
Magistrate Anthony Vella, however, declared Borg not guilty of attempted grievous bodily harm and conditionally discharged her for six months.
Police inspector Daniel Zammit prosecuted while Dr Roberto Montalto and Jose Herrera appeared for the defendant.
