Car Treasure hunt by MIA

Malta Independent Saturday, 13 May 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Malta International Airport, through its Activities & Sport Club, recently organised a car treasure hunt in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Fund.

Thirty five cars and around 150 persons took part in the day-long activity and the top three teams won trips to the UK courtesy of Britishjet.com, a week-end break at the InterContinental Hotel and exclusive MIA corporate gifts.

Pierre Aquilina, Head of Quality Assurance and Training Services at MIA presented the donation to Josette Bezzina on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Fund. This was the second event that the MIA Activities & Sport Club has organised in aid of the CF Trust after a one day football tournament held in December 2005.
