The US Embassy in Malta is inviting applications from suitably qualified Maltese citizens to apply for the 2007-2008 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship. The Humphrey Fellowship, a competitive, fully funded, non-degree programme, offers both professional and academic training in the specific fields listed below. To date, 14 Maltese citizens have successfully participated in the program.

This 10-month Fellowship in the United States is designed for policy makers, planners, administrators and managers who have a public service orientation, are committed to Malta’s national development, and have demonstrated leadership potential. Candidates may be selected from either the public or private sector, including non-governmental organisations.

Applications are open to citizens of Malta holding at least a University Bachelor’s degree and who have a minimum of five years post-graduate experience in their respective professional field.
