The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce will again be organising the popular Summer Morning Courses in art, drama, crafts and music, between 15 July and 15 September.

All the courses will be held at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta, during the morning hours and anyone over the age of six can attend.

Courses will be held in the following subjects: Art, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Floral Art, Glass Painting, Painting on Parchment, Parchment Crafts, Stone Sculpture, Guitar, Pianoforte (pre-grade and grades 1 to 5), Violin, Theory of Music, Beading, Cottage Craft, Crochet, Dress-making and Cutting Out, Embroidery, Embroidery in Gold, Fashion Design, Filigree, Ganutell, Interior Design, Malta Lace, Mixed Crafts (Candles and Decoupage), Monastery, Needle Handicrafts, Quilting, Soft Furnishing, Tailoring, Hansa and Tatting.

Crib Building and Model Ship Building courses

Two new courses are being introduced with the Saturday Morning Courses: the Crib Building course, which starts on 22 July, and the Model Ship Building Course, which starts on 15 July.

The Saturday Morning Courses will also be organised during the summer months. They will be in Art, Drama, Filigree, Pianoforte and Theory of Music, Embroidery, Hansa, Needle Handicraft and Parchment Craft.
