On the occassion of Mothers’ Day, Nadine Axisa will be presenting an exclusive preview of her forthcoming performance “It’s All About Jazz...” at the Bay Street Complex.
Nadine will be performing a selection of jazz standards taken from her forthcoming show which will open at St James Cavlier this week.
Nadine is accompanied by the trio Greenhouse, a local band composed of Harry Eddleston (keyboards), Marvin Gaerty (guitar) and Adrian Galea (drums and percussion). This trio has been playing together for a number of years and have recently joined forces with Nadine.
Nadine Axisa’s performance will also include well-known tunes from the great artists of the 70’s and 80’s, such as Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper and Sting, with an improvised interpretation of these four local artists’ works. The repertoire of this jazz night will include famous compositions of the great composer Antonio Carlos Jobim with interpretations of the Brazilian Latin jazz.
The ‘It’s all about Jazz...’ exclusive preview will be on at Bay Street’s Rotunda at 4pm.
