Thurston Grixti is the new Malta Under 18 Snooker Champion after beating Matthias Mallia of Balluta Band Club, Sliema, 4-0 in the final.

This was Grixti`s second national honour of the year when back in January he won the Under 16 Championship after beating Wayne Pace 5-0 in the final.

Grixti`s 52 break was by far the highest of the Under 18 Championship. Sixteen players from different clubs in Malta took part in this competition organised by the Malta Billiard and Snooker Association.
