Hibs and Melita will contest the women’s KO final after beating Mosta and St Venera with 5-0 scorelines in the semi-finals the past weekend.

It will be the fifth final for Hibs. Previously they won and lost twice against Birkirkara. On the other hand, this will be Melita’s second final. They had lost to Birkirkara on penalties in their first appearance.

Scorers for Hibs against Mosta were Ylenia Carabott 3, Claire Sciberras and Dorianne Theuma.

Melita’s scorers against St Venera were Ingrid Vassallo 3, Rebecca D’Agostino and Ruth Steerchetam.

The final is being played tomorrow at the national stadium at 4.45pm, before the FA Trophy semi-final between Sliema W. and Floriana which kicks off at 7.30pm.
