The annual Skolasport Manifestation Day, which is being sponsored by Kellogg’s for the eighth consecutive year, is being held on Saturday at 8.30am at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

This event, organised by the Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport, is held to mark the end of Skolasport’s winter programme.

All Skolasport participants and their parents are invited to attend, as well as the general public, particularly the many young sports enthusiasts. Entrance is free of charge.

This year’s Manifestation Day programme includes lots of fun games and entertainment for the participants. The activities kick off with indoor circuit games at 8.45am for all the Skolasport participants.

There will also be other indoor and outdoor activities and games which will include gymnastics, baseball, football, tag-rugby, handball, volleyball and basketball.

The entertainment this year will be hosted by Annalise Ellul. The performance will start with a display prepared by Ms Marion Cutajar from the Foundation Cottonera Group.

This will be followed by a Hip-Hop routine, prepared by Ms Nadine Giles and performed by the Skolasport Dance Sport students.

There will also be performances from the Alison White Dance School and the Annalise Ellul Dance Group, as well as a possible appearance by Malta’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, Fabrizio Faniello. The manifestation will come to an end at 11am.

During the show, a medal will be presented to all the participants of Skolasport.

As part of its 100th Anniversary celebrations, Kellogg’s Vintage Truck will be stationed during the Manifestation Day, giving out a free cereal breakfast of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes – the first cereal product launched by Kellogg Company in 1906.

All those attending this event are reminded to bring sun-screen lotion, a cap, water, and their Skolasport t-shirt to the activity.
