Two men were yesterday injured, one of them seriously, following a construction accident, the police said yesterday.
The men, a 23-year-old from St Paul’s Bay and a 22-year-old from Zebbug, were demolishing various roofs in Hokham Frere Street, Pietà, at around 10am, when part of a roof that was being removed collapsed, injuring them.
The 23-year-old sustained broken bones while the 22-year-old man only suffered light injuries.
Police investigations continue.
