699 elderly persons are waiting to be admitted to St Vincent de Paule Residence and 1,030 elderly persons are waiting to be admitted to Homes for the Elderly, Health Minister Louis Deguara told Labour MP Adrian Vassallo.

Investigations into use of ETC van

Dr Vassallo asked Education Minister to ensure that irregular immigrants do not get to use the Employment and Training Corporation van unless they are using any service offered by ETC. Minister Louis Galea, replying, said he will ask ETC to investigate this claim.
