Valletta FC will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) next Wednesday, which is a Public Holiday, at St Dominic’s Parish Church Hall, Valletta at 9am.

Among items on the agenda, there is the election for the new committee for next season.

General Secretary Anton Abela, will be receiving nominations from those interested in putting in their candidature till Monday 5th June.

All Valletta FC members are urged to attend for this important annual meeting.

Meanwhile, contacted yesterday, current president Charles Camilleri said he had not yet decided whether to contest the election or not.

Some persons phoned this office yesterday to inform the newspaper that some leaflets were distributed during the night, especially in Republic Street, asking those attending next Wednesday’s meeting not to vote for some members forming part of the outgoing committee.
