A 63-year-old man from Gharghur was seriously injured after he fell off a scaffolding in WM Thackray Street, Naxxar, the police said yesterday.
The man was whitewashing a house early in the afternoon when he fell. He was taken to St Luke’s Hospital where he was certified to be in critical condition.
Duty Magistrate Dr M. Haymann was informed about the case and she appointed various experts to assist in the inquiry. Naxxar police are also investigating.
