Pierre Brincat’s women’s team yesterday obtained its first point in the World Cup qualifying competition when they figured in a 1-1 draw with Bosnia Herzegovina at the Hibs Ground at Corradino.

Dorianne Theuma put Malta ahead on 20 minutes, but Bosnia equalised on the 75th minute despite having had one of their team members sent off.
