The last major event in Maltese football this season will be the Replay Gala Night being held at the Valletta Waterfront this evening, during which the Net TV programme will be presenting its awards to the winning footballers.
Also during the evening, the newspapers, The Malta Independent, In-Nazzjon and The Times will be presenting an award to who, in their opinion, will be the Player of the Year.
During the evening, the winners of each category will also vote for the Best of them all, that is, the champion of champions. He will be presented with an award by the special guest Norman Whiteside, formerly of Manchester United and N. Ireland fame.

Best goalkeeper: Simon Agius (Floriana), Murphy Akanji (Sliema), David Simon (B’Kara).
Best defender: Ian Azzopardi (Floriana), David Camilleri (Hibernians), Precious Monye (B’Kara).
Best midfielder: Etienne Barbara (B’Kara), George Mallia (B’Kara), Ivan Woods (Sliema).
Best striker: Andrew Cohen (Hibernians), Michael Galea (B’Kara), Daniel Nwoke (Msida).
Best player U-21: Dyson Falzon (Mosta), Andre Schembri (M’Xlokk), Ian Zammit (Valletta).
Best coach: Stephen Azzopardi (B’Kara), Edward Aquilina (Sliema), Paul Zammit (Valletta).
Best female player: Rebecca D’Agostino (Melita), Dorianne Theuma (Hibs), Sharon (Sta Venera).
Best Gozitan player: Alex Simoncic (Nadur), Saverino (Sannat), Elton Vella (Kercem).
Best goal: Daniel Nwoke (Msida), Udo Nwoko (Mosta), Roderick Briffa (B’Kara).
Best save: Mario Muscat (Hibernians), Rueben Debono (M’Xlokk), Murphy Akanji (Sliema).
Best player Netstars: Robert Magro, John Cutajar.
The presentation will be held on a special barge in the form a small football pitch complete with artificial turf, lines and goalposts. It will be berthed in the lagoon. Spectators will be able to watch proceedings from a special stand on the side of the shops at the Waterfront.
