The Employment and Training Corporation (ETC) recently organised a Train the Trainer course for Armed Forces of Malta personnel.

The AFM had asked the corporation to provide the course for 12 members of the AFM who are regularly required to train other members of the army.

The Train the Trainer course is intended to enable line managers, supervisors and other workers to give more effective on-the-job training to new employees. The programme, offered by the ETC on a part-time basis, helps the participants to acquire the necessary skills that will eventually enable them to deliver training to employees in an interesting and stimulating manner.

This course teaches participants the skills required for the planning, delivery and the evaluation of a training programme.

Over the past 12 years, the corporation has trained over 60,000 people and is currently offering over 90 different courses in Malta and Gozo.
