A painting at the Balzan parish church fell from the ceiling during the night, the parish said on the social media.
When we opened the church this morning we found this painting on the ground, the parish said.
The painting "peeled" itself from the ceiling at a time when the church was closed.
The parish said it will be examining other similar paintings to check their condition.
