This year, the Ministries for Justice and Home Affairs, Education, Youth and Employment, the Family and Social Solidarity, the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and various government agencies and non-governmental organisations involved in the field, have come together to mark World Refugee Day (20 June).

The NGOs and government entities participating in the World Refugee Day – Celebrate Hope events are: Agenzija APPOGG, Dar il-Qawsalla, Dar is-Sliem, Emigrants’ Commission, Integra Foundation, the Jesuit Refugee Service (Malta), Malta Red Cross, Moviment Graffiti and Suret-il Bniedem (Marsa Open Centre).
