Lazio coach Delio Rossi is to visit Malta on a short visit near the end of the month. He has accepted an invitation from the local branch of the Lazio Supporters Club.

Rossi, 46, will arrive on 29 June and stay here till 3 July. He is to be accommodated at the Westin Dragonara Hotel.

He will be meeting local Lazio fans at a special activity to be held on 2 July.

Rossi joined Lazio on a two-year contract last season. He led the side to a sixth place, and a berth in the UEFA Cup, despite a tight budget after the club was hard hit by financial problems.

Among the teams he has coached are Salernitana, Lecce and Atalanta.

In Malta, Rossi will be accompanied by club official Felice Pulici who is a former popular goalkeeper of the club.
