A “Bring and Buy” activity was the theme of the June meeting for members of the Malta Philatelic Society which was held at St Publius Oratory, Floriana.

A number of interesting items were exhibited, and some were taken up very quickly such as the album containing a mixture of mint and used Great Britain Stamps. Proceeds of philatelic items put up for sale by Mr J.R. Kitchen were kindly donated to the Society.

The auction was conducted by the Society’s vice-president, Anthony Fenech, assisted by the President Chev. Dr Alfred Bonnici.

The next activity of the society will be the Maltex VII Philatelic Exhibition which will be held at the Le Meridien Phoenicia on Thursday 5 October.
